O intervenção resumiu-se à requalificação de num pequeno terraço existente num apartamento privado em Lisboa. O terraço existente, árido e seco, não tinha qualquer qualidade material, espacial e vivencial. O cliente tinha como premissa transformá-lo num espaço agradável para estadia ao ar livre, com uma forte presença de novos elementos verdes. Aproveitando o desnível existente, criaram-se duas zonas a cotas diferentes - uma zona mais ampla e livre no patamar de cima e uma zona de refeições resguardada no patamar de baixo. Bancos encastrados, nova iluminação e três materiais - micro-cimento, mosaico hidráulico e vegetação - resolveram o projecto.
The intervention focused on the requalification of a small terrace in a private apartment in Lisbon. The existing dry terrace had no material, spatial, and living quality. The client's premise was to make it a pleasant outdoor space, with a strong presence of new green elements. Taking advantage of the existing gap, two
different areas were created at different levels - a wider and free area, at the upper level and a sheltered dining area on the lower level. Recessed benches, new lighting and three materials - micro-cement, hydraulic mosaic and vegetation - solved the project.
